Ghost and HP Proliant servers

I need a solution

Good afternoon,

I have spent some time on this project and I feel like every step forward I make I fall two steps back. I was tasked to ghost 13 HP proliant servers. 2-DL320 g6, 2-DL380 g7, and the rest are DL360 g7. We are planning on taking these servers offline and wanted to grab an image incase we ever needed to rebuild. I have hit multiple road blocks along the way, but have moved passed them with help from people on this forum and searching all depths of the internet. Now I am stuck scratching my head and I just want this project to be over.

Through trial and error I have decided to use a boot disk and ghostcast server to do the images. I can boot from the usb, get into the PXE, and run ghost64.exe without issue. I then go into ghostcast, multicast, and put the information for my server in there and actually hit my server. The issue comes after this part. I cannot see my hard drives on my HP servers. The servers are win2008r2 and they are all the HP servers listed above. In addition I am using PXE 5.0 for my preboot environment and I am not positive if this is the mistake I am making or if it has to do with drivers. My guess is drivers, but I am finding it very difficult to find the correct drivers I need. I have the HP service pack for proliant 2014.2.0 so I have access to all the drivers. The issue is that the format for the drivers from HP are .exe and even after extracting them I am still not getting the driver format I need for ghost, or so it would seem

At this point I dont know what to do. I have attempted multiple fixes and nothing seems to work. I have even tested a clone and rebuild on two different systems to verify that I can do it. So I know it has to do specifically with these systems and I am assuming it has to do with the drivers for the array. Does anyone have any insight or direction on this? Am I poking at the correct thing?

Thanks,

Ricky
