Ghostcast server without create a job

In version 2.5 when my client computers did not start or did not have the agent installed, it was not necessary to create a job, I used ghostcast server and a dhcp / tftp server, but now in version 3.1, if I am not mistaken they should be visualized by the Console and create a job. I'm right?
