I need a solution

Hello,

I am facing two problems on actual version on GSS. Actually from beginning of installation and from time I am trying to setup GSS on my environment.

Version : GSS 3.1 Build 837 MP:5

My environment is more than 300 very different production PCs. Almost all of them are on Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 )

I need sometimes to make some backups by network (when production will change somthing in configuration on those PCs)

But preparing this varied takes really a lot of time. Ealier I was using GSS by Symantec - not with PXE, but with option that made some virtual partition on every PC I wanted to backup (on RAM from what I remember) - on on restart GSS automation was started autimatically. And this worked very good.

1) First thing - I know that I have PXE, or in case of problems - I have eventually Automation Folder that I can Install - but automation folder is taking much time to install, and I need to remember to uninstall it when no need.

Is there an option - like old GSS - to make backup with "one time" virtual partition that will boot on restart of PC ?

This also could help me with Dell Pcs that are very very bad in cooperate with GSS...

2) Adding .INF's to PXE images....

When I will find new PC that my image of PXE (or automation folder) is lacking of net drivers - I need to add INF to image. This process is taking very very much of time : delete actual PXE image (or edit actual), then recreate it... is there a faster way to make it ?

And - how Auto-detect all device drivers works ? Because I can tell that it wont work for me... (attachment)
