Hi-
I'm novice at using Ghost but have been thrown into the fire at work and asked to figure it out, so please excuse my naivety on the subject. I'm attempting to image an HP Z240 and running into an issue. Ghost seems to run fine, however when I reboot following the ghosting process it says "no boot device found". There is one, completely formated, 2TB, SATA hard drive.
Im using Ghost 64 bit version 12.0.0.8023
Local > Disk > From an Image.. At this point I see two versions of the external hard drive my image is stored on Passport NTFS drive (K) and Passport local drive (E) Not sure if this matters.
For this isntance I'll select the image from the NTFS version of my Passport and select the image.
On the Select local destination screen I have 4 options, and 1 greyed out option
1 ATA (The hard drive)
2 NVM Samsung MZVPV512 (I hadnt seen this before so I googled it and it appears to be the memory modules used on the machine. Didnt know you could image a memory stick)
3 Is the passport
4 is the bootable stick
80 OS Volumes (Its greyed out so I can select it but It seems odd to that there are OS volumes on the drive considering it was completely wiped.)
I select the first option which presents me with question 1873: "The source is MBR and was captured on a BIOS system. The destination system seems to be UEFI. Convert destination disk to GPT?"
I selected yes before and it hasnt worked, so for this instance I've selected No. I'm then presented with "Destination Drive Details" my options are as follows:
1 Primary F: 07 (ID) NTFS System Reserve (Label) 612 (New Size)
2 Primary H: 07 (ID) NTFS No Name (Label) 1907115 (New Size)
In the past I was pretty sure I saw a C: drive option and I've never been asked the question referenced above. If more information is needed please ask and thank you for your time.
