Install Automation Folder fails

I am running GSS 3.1 on a 2008 R2 server.  When I select to  install an automation folder on a client, most of the time the job starts and but doesn't finish.  The status just shows "Sending package 'C:\Program Files\Altirs....... The folder is correct and there is a automation.exe file in the folder that was created with Ghost 3.1 Boot Disk Creator.  A few do install and the job completes.  The clients are all active, same model, etc.

Ahy ideas as to what to look for would be appreciated.
